Occupational Therapist

Chelsea Bartlett

B.Occ.Thy (Hons)

"Being able to assist people who live with a disability to participate in the tasks they find meaningful, and to achieve the goals that are important to them, is what makes being an OT so amazing. With a passion for helping others, I thrive of listening to, learning from, and then supporting people, to maximise their quality of life."

Chelsea works in the NDIS sector at MLEA full-time. Using an individualised and person-centred approach, she supports people with a variety of health conditions to optimise their participation and wellbeing. Majority of her clinical experience is in working with adults with physical and cognitive difficulties, ranging from orthopaedic injuries to neurological impairments such as spinal cord injuries, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and acquired brain injury.

Chelsea has also been involved in academic research. She is a published author in an academic journal for her study on the lived experience of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
