The front entrance to MLEA is accessible from the main street, Logan Rd at 1/167 Logan Rd, Woolloongabba.

The front access to MLEA has a flight of stairs (16 steps) and is therefore not suitable for individuals who have difficulty walking up stairs. Please advise admin if you identify with this, as you will need to access MLEA via the rear entrance which only has 5 stairs. The building is not wheelchair accessible.

If there are no car parks available on Logan Rd, the best place to park is on Lewis St, which is the first left off Logan Rd after the MLEA entrance. Along Lewis St there are limited all day parking spots, otherwise, the street has a 2-hour parking limit.

Please be aware that depending on your assessment type, your booking may take longer than 2 hours. In this case, to avoid a parking fine, your car may need to be moved during the assessment. Just let our friendly staff know at the beginning of the assessment.

If you have a care plan from your GP, a portion of your assessment may be eligible for the Medicare rebate. This rebate can only be claimed on face-to-face appointments, it cannot be claimed for report writing or travel. More information regarding the rebate can be found on our fees page.

Coverage of Occupational Therapy different between private health care providers. Please discuss with you provider before seeking services as we cannot guarantee what your specific provider will cover.

If you are not on the NDIS but are seeking access, we can help you by providing one of our specialised NDIS Access Assessments. These are done at a flat-rate and involve an in-person assessment and the production of a report that you can submit along with your NDIS application. Find out more information here.

MLEA is not a registered NDIS provider. This means we unfortunately cannot work with agency managed participants.

For NDIS and private Occupational Therapy: We can travel to your home if it is within a 40km radius of our office located in Woolloongabba. Travel beyond this can be arranged under special circumstances but will incur additional fees.

For Medicolegal services: We can travel nationwide. Travel will be arranged by MLEA and invoiced as related costs. MLEA will not be responsible for any costs related to travel cancellations or delays, beyond their control. Out-of-pocket expenses (such as meals, taxifares etc) will also be invoiced.
