I love that through a collaborative approach, my role can help identify areas of everyday life that have been impacted by a health condition, and from there, work together with clients to achieve personalised goals and maximise functional potential."
Alyse works in the NDIS sector of MLEA where she provides individualised occupational therapy services for a range of health conditions. Her clinical background is primarily in the adult/older adult populations, delivering both inpatient and community-based therapy; most commonly, individuals recovering from neurological conditions such as stroke and acquired brain injuries in general and intensive rehabilitative settings.
In addition to applying a holistic, person-centred approach to every case, she has experience in conducting various cognitive and functional assessments to thoroughly evaluate client needs and goals for therapy.
