Community OT Team Leader | Occupational Therapist
Chelsea Bartlett
B.Occ.Thy (Hons)
"Being able to assist people to participate in the tasks they find meaningful, and to achieve the goals that are important to them, is what makes being an OT so amazing. With a passion for helping others, I thrive of listening to, learning from, and then supporting people, to maximise their quality of life."
Using an individualised, evidence based and person-centred approach, Chelsea supports people with a variety of health conditions to optimise their participation and wellbeing.
Chelsea works in the community occupational therapy sector at MLEA full-time, and she is also the Team Leader for MLEA’s community OT team. Chelsea’s passion and majority of her clinical experience is in working with adults with physical and/or neurological diagnoses, such as spinal cord injuries, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and acquired brain injury to name a few.
Chelsea has also been involved in academic research. She is a published author in an academic journal for her study on the lived experience of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
