Community Allied Health Assistant
Christine Bracey
"After 25 years in Credit Management, I took the leap into a completely new chapter — becoming an Allied Health Assistant in paediatrics. And what a journey it’s been! My lifelong love for netball, coaching teams, and over a decade of volunteering in community sport gave me the spark — I’ve always been drawn to helping people grow, connect, and thrive. Now I get to channel that passion into supporting children with autism — helping them achieve little milestones with big meaning"
As an Allied Health Assistant, I get to work alongside the amazing Occupational Therapists. Previously I have worked with Speech Pathologists, Behavioural Optometrists, Physiotherapist and Psychologists, supporting incredible clients on their journey — whether it’s building fine motor skills, exploring sensory play, learning to communicate, mental health, rehabilitation exercises or trying new foods one bite at a time!
I love being part of a profession where play has purpose, and every milestone matters. Grateful for the opportunity to make a difference, one session, one smile, one breakthrough at a time.
