Luke Constantin

Luke has had practical experience on placement in various areas including hand therapy and NDIS community-based participants. Additionally, he worked as an occupational therapy assistant within paediatrics for a year and a half, an invaluable experience, exposing him to the intricacies of developmental challenges and the significant impact occupational therapy can have on young lives. Luke was drawn to this practice setting due to his great experience on placement as a student with MLEA for 10 weeks, where he got the chance to work with a supportive team, meet amazing participants, conduct assessments and write applications for assistive equipment and home modifications, areas in which he is largely interested in. As Luke has just completed university, he believes he has a strong foundation in theory-driven, client-centred, occupation-focused and evidence-based practice.

Luke’s ideal weekend consists of surfing with friends, attending music gigs and socialising in the sun. He starts his mornings by sitting in the sun with a coffee and listening to music. But after work, you will see him going for a surf which is his favourite pastime. Luke also shares a large interest in listening to music and watching soccer. When he isn’t staying busy with his work and interests, Luke will use his wind down time to read a book or put on a vinyl, go for a walk on the beach and spend time with his friends and family.
