"Having worked closely with occupational therapists as a paediatric physiotherapist in South Africa, I enjoy supporting the staff at MLEA within the interesting area of medicolegal work. I have a passion for patient-centred care and am thrilled to be able to make a positive impact in the lives of our clients and their families."
Tamsen worked for almost ten years as a paediatric physiotherapist in both South Africa and the United Kingdom. Most of her physiotherapy career was focussed on the paediatric ICU where she gained an appreciation for the impact disability can have not only on the patient’s life, but also on the lives of their families. Moving out of the clinical field, Tamsen took over a medical manager role in a pharmaceutical company in South Africa and transitioned from this into medical writing and research. Her varied background ensures that Tamsen brings a meticulous, caring and well-rounded approach to her case load.
