Emma Simpson

Occupational Therapy Assistant

B.Occ.Thy (Undergraduate)

“ I loved the team culture of MLEA since the very first day I started. I have felt supported in my learning and continued growth. While studying Occupational Therapy, it has been invaluable learning to be surrounded by industry experts that are genuinely interested in my ability to become the best Occupational Therapist possible when I graduate. I am continuing to learn and develop new skills while in my role at MLEA”

Emma joined MLEA in 2021 as an undergraduate OT, with a background in biomedicine and law. She has previously worked as a criminal law clerk and continues to work concurrently as a disability support worker. This invaluable experience provided Emma with an insight into the convergence of medicine and law, which drew her to work in the medicolegal industry.

Emma has an interest in pursuing medicolegal OT work after her graduation, as well as future research opportunities in assistive technology. Emma is enthusiastic about the future of her Occupational Therapy career, and the many opportunities this career path offers.
