Niamh Hedges-Quinn
"Whilst completing my physio degree, I had the opportunity to work closely with OT’s across many different specialties and thoroughly enjoyed learning about occupational therapy and collaborating with them. I am passionate about helping others and love the rewarding feeling of knowing you have made a positive difference to a persons life. "
Niamh recently completed her Physiotherapy degree in England and graduated in September 2022. During her degree she completed placements in a wide range of specialities with her favourites being orthopaedic surgery, emergency care and paediatrics. Niamh is extremely interested in all things allied health, and she is looking forward to the opportunity to view healthcare from another perspective.
On her weekends, Niamh spends her weekends enjoying the Aussie sun, which she says is something not so available in England! She loves spending her time at the pool or in the city and socialising with her friends. After work, she enjoys cooking meals for her and her partner, before relaxing with a movie or going for a walk. Niamh values her interest in nutrition, which is something she like to research in her own time. She also loves long distance running and reading! Niamh is living with her partner and friends as she recently immigrated from England, her family and beloved dogs; Billy and Milo, are still living in her home country. Niamh likes to wind down by watching a movie or reading, she is also a huge fan of Sudoku! A nice run or spending time with friends is something that will always cheer her up and energise her.
